About NEFDA
The Northeast Fire Department Association (NEFDA) is an organization that supports and coordinates fire departments in the North Texas region. Established in 1967, the Northeast Fire Department Association (NEFDA) contains a total of 37 fire stations protecting over 178 square miles. The combined departments employ over 750 firefighters and respond to approximately 60,000 calls per year.
